Memorial, Brixen Italy II
As I sat to let my images play as a slide show, this image caught my eye and I realized something was missing. It just didn't have what I consider depth (some say feeling?). I began with two layers of LucisArt ('Sculpture' to bring out the stone and then 'Exposure' to give it depth), combined the layers, then the diagonal line 'curves' from the cross to the soldier.
I played allittle more and made the flowers B&W; but, it just didn't do something I was looking for in this image. That kind of made the image too flat so I deleted the file.
Another deletion was trying to add another diagonal line to the names. Just couldn't figure out how to accomplish that look. If the potted plant/tree was not there, it would have worked.
